Game Fish Tournament is the premier offshore fishing competition in Central America. Every May, more than 30 international vessels gather off San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, for two intense days of sportfishing under official IGFA rules.
The tournament combines three categories — Billfish (release-only), Roosterfish (release-only) and Funfish (weight) — rewarding both responsible release and conservation. Operations are powered by a custom digital management platform that integrates online registration, live scoring, judges panel, and public awards presentation.
Each edition allocates a portion of its proceeds to local marine education programs and the artisanal fishing fleet of the San Juan del Sur community. The event culminates with a public Awards Ceremony at Pelican Eyes Resort.
